Alic Accounting was founded to provide high-touch bookkeeping and advisory to a limited roster of growing businesses — a team that treats the monthly close as the main event rather than an afterthought.

Our story

Alicia Ferreira spent eight years inside a regional CPA firm watching the same pattern repeat every spring: tax preparers scrambling to fix a year of neglected books before a deadline. The bookkeeping was always the bottleneck, and it was always the thing nobody wanted to own.

She started Alic Accounting to own it. Twelve years later, the firm serves more than sixty businesses across construction, e-commerce, financial services, healthcare, law, nonprofits, real estate, and retail, with a team of bookkeepers who each specialize in one or two of those sectors.

How we work

Every client has a dedicated bookkeeper and a senior reviewer. Books are closed by the 10th of the month. Statements come with a short written summary of what changed. Questions get answered within one business day. We coordinate directly with your CPA at tax time so you don't have to sit in the middle.
